Our range of Zap® self drilling screws is available in a variety of corrosion resistant coatings that conform to SANS1273 specifications. The head markings on the heads of the Zap ® screws indicate the corrosion class of the coating.
Zap®Z3 self drilling screws conform to SANS1273 Class 3 specifications. The screws have a duplex coating which consists of a layer of zinc/tin mechanical plating (min 25 micron) and a top layer of a patented zinc / ceramic coating. These screws are suitable for use with Z200; Z270 and AZ150 sheeting and the painted versions thereof in moderate industrial and marine environments (ISO9223 Class 3 environments)
