Our range of Zap® self drilling screws is available in a variety of corrosion resistant coatings that conform to SANS1273 specifications. The head markings on the heads of the Zap ® screws indicate the corrosion class of the coating.
Zap® Z4 self drilling screws conform to SANS1273 Class 4 specifications. The screws have a duplex coating which consists of a layer of zinc/tim mechanical plating (min. 45 micron). and a top layer of a patented zinc / ceramic coating. These screws are suitalbe for use with Z200; Z270; AZ150 and AZ200 sheeting and the painted versions thereof in severe industrial and marine environments (ISO9223 Class4 environments)
